Here’s a video I took of a practice session to try to improve my reloading accuracy for single stack magazines. The magwell is very small and you’d have to get in at the right angle for it to seat smoothly. I think I’ve only managed to load the magazine smoothly three or four times during that time. I definitely need more practice.
I’ve also dinged my magazine followers. I have to remember to use Snap Caps in the future.
ok I thought my Hatcam looks silly,
this is even sillier looking. It’s a great idea, but mounting a Flip video that high up just looks funny. The mount is a standard camera mount, that means you could mount anything there, perhaps a Canon 5D Mark II for that super HD bokeh filled FPS video of your USPSA match.

I’m not sure why but I LOVE watching these videos. How to breakdown a complete pistol and reassemble them together again. I’m such a geek.
I’ve been playing with compensators recently and decided to see if I can fit one on my Kimber without having to change barrels or gunsmithing. Found a EFK FireDragon 1911 Bushing Compensator which is awesome because you can just swap the bushing in and out “relatively” easily. It retails for $69.95 and requires some fitting.
Here’s how it looks shipped from Fire Dragon
as you can see, the throat is a little large so you can customize and fit it to your slide.
Out comes the Dremel and a sanding tool :
after 10minutes of sanding and refitting:
All dressed up tacticool-style. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but will get to it.
well I’m not sure if it’s his but I saw it on his new DVD JM Practical Rifle from Brownells.
he has a chain that links both feet of the bipod together tightly so that you can pull on one leg and the other will follow, quickening the release of the bipod in 3gun matches.
Here’s a 6inch length of chain I bought from Home Depot for 30cents. I went with black so it doesn’t look too out of place.
After mounting to each side using pliers etc :
Pulling on one side and you can see the other side will follow :
Fully extended :
The Silver bipod feet is The Bi-Slide by Bruce Piatt so that you can slide your bipod to transition from target to target much faster than a standard bipod feet will, since it’s super smooth.

Looks like a MAXIM pistol.
HDH 20 Shot Revolver!
and the Cylinder.
Frankenau Compact Revolver
Jarre Volley Pistol
after looking at the guns on this site, the current pistols all seem very bland and boring. There hasn’t been much innovation in the designs of pistols nowadays. Wish we could see more weird ones today. I guess the Chiapa Rhinos would be one of them.
