Ever since I started shooting Revolvers in IDPA and USPSA, I’ve been anal about using good quality moonclips. I purchase all my moonclips from Ranch Products, makers of what most of the revolver shooters say, the best moon clips on the market. I use primarily stainless moonclips to match my nickel revolver .45 ACP rounds. Just for looks
Problem with moonclips is they’re flat, numerous and can be damaged easily. So finding a way to store them AND be able to detect any faulty or bent moonclips is essential.
I’ve seen some interesting designs by popular moon clip holder makers but I’m sure they are pricy. Here’s a cheap… no actually.. NO COST way of storing your precious Moon Clips.

I find that if you use a small pencil, you can align the moonclips easily by inserting them from the top and wiggling them as you make your way down to the last moonclip.
