Renton USPSA Revival Match July 2013

The Renton USPSA match has been in a state of flux for the past few months due to lack of help. USPSA like most shooting sports is a volunteer driven sport. Clubs need help to organize these matches, setup and tear down stages. It has taken it’s toll on the small number of volunteers in the past year, but it’s back and with a vengeance. Stages were challenging with lots of long distance partials, and tight shots.

**UPDATE**

I just got the scores. I took first overall in Open and the match. Must have been the best performance of my shooting career. Still have slight issues that I need to work on, but my head was in the game the whole match. I wish all matches are like that. 🙂

USPSA @ Paul Bunyan – Open Division

Here’s the match I shot at the Paul Bunyan Rifle Club in Washington state yesterday. Great day to be out shooting. Can’t say so for my accuracy. I shot the Single Stack Championships a few weeks ago with my Kimber with a 5lb trigger, and I think that screwed up my shooting yesterday. I keep pulling shots low. Just need to get used to the 1.5lb trigger all over again.
