Fun USPSA match at Marysville Rifle Club’s monthly in Marysville, WA. It was a late start for me with lots of stupid mistakes but got better as the day progressed. We started on Stage 4.
My plan all along was to bling up my Open Division blaster by making it as shiny as possible. I had polished the slide to a shine and always wondered how to turn my C-More Serendipity chrome since it’s made of plastic. I recently bought a “chrome” like spray paint from Rust-O-Leum and spray it on a spare C-More that I had sitting around. After drying for two weeks, it looks decent. Not exactly chrome but a bright silver I would say.

As you can see, not really chrome.
Was worried that the shiny exterior will impact how I view the dot but as you can see, it’s pretty decent.
Even with light shining at it, the dot is clear and the ring doesn’t get in the way.
Here’s my view of the PB match on Sunday. Silly, stupid mistakes. My dot was too bright on Stage 4 – Pushy and what I thought was my dot was actually the reflection artifact from having the dot too bright shining on the lens. That’s why I missed that headshot from such a close distance.
