Winchester Small Rifle Primers
Reshaped Lake City 556 Brass
Just got my new Ruger 10/22 Takedown threaded so I can mount my AAC Prodigy Suppressor. The threading is done by a local Northwest gunsmith called JD. He did an excellent job moving the front sight back to accommodate the threads. If you’re interested, you can contact JD at http://www.highspeedshootingsystems.com
I took it to the range today to sight in the UTG 3-9×32 compact scope. I love the scope as it’s small enough to fit into the provided rifle case.
Ever since the Washington state law concerning the legal use of silencers/suppressors was changed in July, I’ve considered getting one. It has many uses from home defense, to plinking, but my ultimate goal was because it’s so frigging cool!
I sold my old Ruger Mark III and bought a new Ruger 22/45 with the threaded barrel and rail from West Coast Armory (Thanks Matt for helping with the paperwork)
Here are some pics from the unboxing.
pretty cool soft case :
Ugh, the factory lube is nasty:
Extra magazine and lock:
Of course, the first thing I did was the strip, clean and lube, here it is complete :
And the thread protector where you’d screw in a silencer :
Next step is to get a red-dot or scope and a this beauty :
The AAC Prodigy.
