Went out to the Custer Sportsmen’s Club for the USTRA (http://ustacticalrifle.org) final TacRifle match of the season. Squadded with a bunch of great & experienced shooters. I came in 6th overall at this match and had a ton of fun. It’s always exhilarating to shoot a Tactical Rifle match, you shoot anywhere from 30-50 rounds of ammo per stage and you get to run and gun with long guns like you would in a traditional USPSA/IPSC type stage format.
I brought out my high-speed camera and gun-cam and spliced them together. Hope you enjoy watching it.
Had a TON of fun shooting this August’s match up in Custer. It’s the Civilian version of a Military & Law Enforcement competition called the SWAT Rodeo. They usually shoot this tournament over two days and across 10 stages. We only got to shoot 6 of them because some of the stages require transitions from the Primary rifle to a secondary pistol, which I think is deemed too precarious for us civilians 🙂
