This is by far the HARDEST sight change I’ve ever done. The front sight on the Eclipse Pro II is so hard to remove, it’s even harder than the XDm’s front sight. It took me a hour of banging and hammering with a steel punch with some Liquid Wrench to remove it. Ugh!
I wanted a really good carry sight since this is going to be my other carry gun, and after watching numerous tactical videos / training DVDs, I decided to get a Heinie Kimber LEDGE Straight Eight Sight Set that would allow me to manipulate the slide one handed by hooking the sight on to a belt or holster or anything hard. It also comes with tritium dots that form a figure 8 when you acquire a proper sight picture.
